This past March, Board Member Brett Gibson and his family visited our ministry in Kabale, Uganda. While touring the school campus and student dormitories, Brett's daughter, Arie, noticed that the children's beds had no pillows.
Moved by what she saw, Arie came up with a wonderful idea. After returning to the United States, she set out to raise the funds needed to provide pillows for the children. It didn't take long for her to reach her goal of $650.
As you can see from the photos, Arie's efforts brought both comfort and joy to the children. Her kindness is a beautiful reminder that one person can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Thank you, Arie, for proving that you're never too young to make a difference in the life of a child.
