“Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible,
but with God all things are possible.' " Matthew 19:26 (NIV)

It is with great joy to announce the completion of our Classroom Rebuild Project! Our Director, Innocent Mucunguzi believed God would provide (in His time and in His way) the $80,000 (US) needed to rebuild our 10 dilapidated and unsafe classrooms. Innocent's faith and vision for improving the lives of children in poverty has never wavered in more than 10 years of ministry. As fellow servants, we are humbled by his steadfast faith and leadership.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not
on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

God's "timing" began in 2021. God's "way" to fund the project came from generous friends and donors of PPMU. They initially gave enough funds to rebuild three classrooms, so in faith, we began Phase 1.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

Despite Covid19 setbacks and economic downturns, project giving continued, so in faith, we began Phase 2 in 2022. Four additional classrooms were rebuilt. Our kids and teaching staff were blessed to use the seven new classrooms!

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your
God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Innocent's 2023 fundraising trip to the U.S. raised the remaining funds needed for the last three classrooms to be rebuilt. Phase 3 of the multi-year project ended this May.

Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. Psalm 106:1 (NIV)

What began as a dream in our ministry director's mind over 10 years ago came to fruition. We thank God and our donors for making our dream a reality. The children are very grateful to have a safe and warm learning environment. Having new buildings affirms our school is thriving and is a source of support to the community of Kabale.

May God bless you for giving sacrificially to this project.
