Please join us in congratulating our 2025 Kindergarten Top Class for completing their school year and being promoted to First Grade! It may seem like a small achievement to celebrate, but it lays out the groundwork for BIG educational dividends in the future. Having a formal graduation ceremony with cap and gown gives our young graduates a taste of what's to come as a result of hard work and effort. For some, this is the first time to experience being praised and acknowledged for their educational efforts. It encourages them to dream about their future and potential careers, something children in poverty seldom indulge in.
Our staff and older students helped organize the event. A neighbor's yard was used to set up tents and balloons! The guest of honor, Reverend Erasmus spoke to guests and prayed over the 18 young graduates. Older students sang and danced for their younger peers. Our Director and Reverend Erasmus handed certificates of completion to each graduate. Parents and Caregivers beamed with pride over the photographs of their children on each certificate. Everyone enjoyed a piece of celebration cake and soda at the end of the ceremony. It was a time of joy and hope for all who attended.
Of course, we could not hold such a celebration without YOU! Thank you for loving our ministry and supporting us in the way you do. If you're new to PPMU and would like to get involved, please click here.
